Meet
Mati Gonzs
Hi, I’m Mati Gonzs, a documentary photographer and cinematographer, and I’m excited to share my experience and passion for storytelling through our portfolio review.
Over the years, I’ve had the honor of working and learning alongside some of the best in the field. In 2018, I received a scholarship from the TURMA program in Buenos Aires, and in 2017, I was selected for the ERRANTE International Photography Festival in Montevideo, sponsored by National Geographic. I’ve also participated in the FIFV International Photography Festival in Valparaiso and had the chance to present my work at the Alexia Foundation Portfolio Review at Photoville in New York, working with Ed Kashi. These experiences have taught me so much about both the technical and emotional elements of photography.
My work has taken me across borders and has been exhibited in places like the Mirar Distinto Documentary Photo Fest in Mexico and FotoArica in Chile. Publications have shared my work with new audiences, including Open Society Foundations, National Geographic, Fuji X Passion, Joia Magazine, and more.
Through this portfolio review, I’m here to help you explore your own unique vision and develop the storytelling skills that make every photo meaningful. Together, let’s dive deep into your work, highlight your strengths, and find new ways to make your voice shine. This experience isn’t just about feedback – it’s about growth, connection, and finding inspiration to keep moving forward in your craft.
